The Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky paid homage to some holy places in Qom Iran which includes theholu shrine of Sayyidah Fatimah Ma'asumah (SA) in Qom, Iran.

Other place visited by the Sheih is the graveyard of Martrys of islamic Revolution in Qom. Sayyidah Ma'asumah is the daughter of Imam Musa Al-Khadeem (SA). The Leader is in Iran for further study in various filed of Islamic Jurisprudence under the tutelage of distinguished scholars.

Shaykh Turi Speaks at Kano khatamah Maulud. The units and zones of the Islamic Movement in Kano have conducted competitive Maulud anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S)]sessions in succession right from day one of this blessed Month. 

Maulud procession in the Kano metropolitan was then conducted amidst ‘security drama’ on the twelfth. To crown it all, a concluding grand Maulud assembly (Khatamah), was conducted on Sunday, 27th Rabi’ul awwal1433 H/19th February, 2012 at the famous ancient Kano city Mosque. However, this year, the event was done at daytime instead of the usual night time because of the ‘simulated insecurity’, courtesy of the ‘dividends of hypocrisy’.

The special guest speaker, Malam Muhammad Turi, rejoiced with the teeming attendants and expressed gratitude to the Almighty for sparing our lives to once again grace this memorable occasion. He hailed the brothers and sisters for their tremendous efforts in making the occasion a success.

As part of his opening remarks, he explored the World situation before and after the advent of ‘the mercy to the creatures’, Muhammad (SAWA). In pre Islamic Arabia, where power belonged to the mighty, the prophet was able to transform the once hard hearted tribal chauvinist Arabs into an outstanding brotherhood that has not been witnessed in human history.

The greatest ‘weapon’ used by the Prophet, contrary to unfounded speculation by the enemies of Islam, was his character. He exhibited a perfect model for mankind. This is affirmed by the Almighty in the Holy Revelation: “Certainly you have in the Apostle of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much.”[Quran: 33.21].

Certainly, observed Malam Turi, the Prophet has struggled in order for mankind to get salvation.  His reward was and is still not a Worldly recompense. We are urged to show love to his Ahlulbayt (progeny). They form part of the two thaqalayn (weighty things) which would never separate until they meet the Prophet in the pond (of Kauthar). The other is the Book of Allah (SWT), the Qur’an. Shaykh quickly drew the attention of attendants towards the practice of constant recitation of the Salawat, the salutation to the prophet and his Ahlulbayt. This Salat is only complete upon the inclusion of the Ahlulbayt; otherwise, the Noble Prophet has categorically prohibited it.

Shaykh Turi pointed to the pathetic situation of ungodliness, tyranny and oppression meted out to the masses of this country, Nigeria despite the fact that we have the Islamic legacy of Shehu bn Fodio with us. The revered leader of the Islamic Movement in this country,  his eminence, Sayyeed Zakzaky (H) has been tirelessly calling people to revert back to this noble legacy. Worst still, the whole security apparatus of the country is now in the hands of apartheid Zionist entity that is known worldwide for terror.

On the current Islamic awakening in the Middle East, whose roots could be undoubtedly traced to the Islamic revolution in Iran, Malam Turi re-iterated the fact that it is surely coming to Nigeria. It is a destiny from God. He said that the United States, its proxy Zionist  illegal entity and other western imperial powers are particular about Nigeria and Egypt. They have vowed to abort the birth of another Iran in Africa. Iran, unarguably, is a rising superpower whereas US is a rapidly declining one soon to be dumped in the dust bin of ‘once upon a time.’

In their analysis, noted Malam Turi, the usurper powers saw that the masses are being pushed to the wall due to continued oppression and corruption. Certainly, this is preparing a fertile ground for mass uprising. They fear that people might find succour with the vibrant Islamic Movement. So their target is to eliminate the revered leader, Sayyeed Zakzaky (H). Already they have collaborated with their errand boys in the Nigerian Government and awarded an oily contract to one Patrick Williams inc Company of the United States to assassinate the Sayyeed. This exhibits the peak of unimaginable irresponsibility: A nation exporting tax payers’ money to a far away assassin to come and kill its own bonafide citizen – a highly placed one for that matter!

Malam Turi emphatically stated that no soul shall die until at its appointed time. So they would never succeed in averting the will of Allah. Sayyeed Zakzaky (H) shall fulfill the mission of Allah as Shehu Fodio (TR) has pointed out in some of his writings. Before concluding, M. Turi urged the teeming masses not to fold their arms. They should wake up and rise to the challenges.

In conclusion, he cautioned the Government that it should not attempt to stop any Islamic gathering or occasion on the flimsy ground of pseudo- insecurity. He recalled that the authorities had wanted to thwart the maulud procession on the 12th Rabiul Awwal. He stressed the point that the Movement is ready to accept invitation from any Islamic school of thought in the event of conduct of an occasion. Thus the concept of Islam being one entity would be manifest. Muslims would then appear as identical twins.

Maulid Khatmah in Kaduna

Khatmah of Maulid Celebration in  Kaduna.The Conclusion segment of Maulid Nabiy celebration in Kaduna takes on  Saturday the 18^th of February 2012 at Yallilo ground.
The occasion was attended by thousands of people who listened to lectures delivered by Mallam Muhammad Fasihullisan and Mallam Abubakar Abdullahi Sokoto.

In his speech Mallam Muhammad spokes on the true love of Prophet and Ahlulbayt(AS) in which he said true love is symoblised by practically adhering to the Sunnah of Prophet and his progeny adding that all actions of Muslims should be in line with Prophet’s foot step. He also called on the Muslim Ummah to come together while understanding their differences.

Mallam Muhammad reminded the audience about the saying of the prophet which says “ I left behind two lofty things for you- the book  of Allah and my household’

The second speaker  Mallam Abubakr Abdullahi,   spoke on the necessity of right leadership in Islam. Because of its importance, he said, Allah Almighty sent messengers one after another to different nations in order to guide mankind. The seal of the messengers sent by Allah is prophet Muhammad bn Abdullahi(SAWA) who brought the last and final message to mankind.

Mall Abubakar expressed the importance and necessity of Islamic system to govern the Ummah  adding that it is duty upon Muslims to work towards achieving it.

In his remarks Mallam Mukhtar Sahabi thanked the lecturers for their contribution.

The celebration was made colourful by parades by school children and poetry recitation by the shu’ara group.

The Three-Point Agenda to supress the Islamic Movement in Nigeria

By Ibrahim Usman.- Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Yaqub Zakzaky has exposed an international agenda to assassinate him, suppress Islamic resurgence and balkanize Nigeria.

He made the disclosure at the climax of Maulud celebration in Zaria, Thursday. The Islamic Movement in Nigeria annualy commemorate the birthday of the Holy Prophet with a rally round the city of Zaria attended by million Muslims across and beyond Nigeria.

Sheikh Zakzaky was commenting on the current Boko Harama crises, which he described as a hoax and a smoke –screen to surpress Islamic revival in Nigeria. According to him, a US based company, Patrick Williams, was contracted to bring chaos in Nigeria. The company, which said specializes in killing people, has three terms of reference: to kill him, tarnish the image of Islam and balkanize Nigeria along religious boundaries. He said, Patrick Williams who runs the company, is Briton but resides in the United States.

He described the three-point agenda as handiwork of the so-called super powers to surpress Islamic resurgence and prevent Islamic awakening taking place in other coutries. “For them to do that, they must do away with anything or anyone that will stand on their way. First, there is the Islamic Movement that has a leadership that must be eliminated, meaning me. Secondly, the ideology of the Movement, Islam, should be tarnished and be associated with terrorism. Thirdly, the Muslims should be isolated so that they do not influence other people. So they plan to balkanize Nigeria; Muslims in the North, Christinas in the South”.

Sheikh Zakzaky pointed out that, he has never imagined himself as leader of a group, but as servant of Allah, Who holds his life in His hands. “Killing me is not killing Islam, and will never stop it from flourishing.Even if you kill me, Allah Who created me, will raise someone like me. You cannot kill me until my time has come as decreed by Allah. When you killed Imam Musa Sadr  in Lebanon, Allah raised  Sayyed Abbas Musawi. When you killed Sayyed Abbas Musawi, Allah raised Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, who was hitherto unknown. Killing a leader is not killing ideology”. He said, the special military squad stationed on stand-by inside the Federal College of Education, Gyallesu Zaria,since after the post election violence was recently reported to have made a surveillance visit in the middle of the night. Similarly, he said, a military helicopter was visibly seen hovering his residence at close range, taking pictures.

On bomblast taking place, Sheikh Zakzaky cited the recent blast in Kaduna to show the fallacy of the operation. According to him, sometimes a high sound  and earh vibrating devices were used in some instances to claim it was bomblast. “Why didn’t they allow journalists to witness what actually happened? he querried. He pointed out that, the intent was to instil fear in the people by placing unnecessary check points, kill people at will and have access to security vote, and in the process, actualize the selfish end of decending on Muslims and Islam.

Sheikh Zakzaky said there is no government in Nigeria, as everything is being planned and executed from America. He pointed out that, Nigerian government has no power or control over its resources and security system. Nigerian security, he explained, are mere tools being paid, without clear vision of what is happening behind the scene.

On the plan to balkanize Nigeria along religious line, North and South, he explained that Nigeria as a highly cosmopolitan country, is different from other countries that were balkanized. He said, part of the fallacy of the agenda was the carving out of some northern states and placing them in the south. Such states according to the plan, he explained are, Adamawa, Kogi, Abuja, Benue, Kwara, Taraba, Nassarawa, Plateau, as part of southern states. The northern states are, Zamafara, Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Borno, Yobe,  Bauchi, Gombe,Jigawa, Kebbi, Kaduna and Niger. “In all the imaginary divides, you find faithfuls of the two religions as indigenes, where will they take them to? “It is almost impossible to divide Nigeria along religious lines, as they assume. They will find it very difficult to do that”.

Sheikh Zakzaky assured that, Islam will triumph, no matter the machuination and conspiracy.

Fudiyya Nursery and Primary Schools Hold Annual Maulid Competition in Zaria

By Muhammad Isa- The annual Maulid competition amongst Fudiyya nursery and primary school pupil was held during the morning sessions of Tuesday 15^th and Wednesday 16^th Rabiul Auwal 1433 (7-8^th February, 2012) as part of the annual Unity week programmes

 organized by the Islamic Movement in commemoration of the birthday of our Noble Prophet (SAWA) in Zaria.

In attendance were the fourteen of Fudiyya schools from the 14 zones, with the leader of the Islamic movement Sayyed Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) as the special guest of honor that received a colorful parade by the school pupil.

In his speech after the competitive colorful parade by the Fudiyya schools Sayyed Zakzaky (H) delivered a special encouraging speech to pupil and general public.

Though the search for knowledge is a tasking job that is met with different set of huddles, its turns out to be beneficial latter with various examples expressed by Sayyed (H) in his speech and thus advised the school pupil to study hard. He reminded the pupil that the goal for education is never to graduate and earn a living, but to search for it for the sake of Allah (SWT) and to be of help to humanity.

He also appreciated the efforts of teachers of the school who have offered their selfless services for a little token while encouraging them to double their efforts in both character they impart and learning.

Parents were also encourage to be very mindful of educating their wards, reminding them the search for education at the youthful years is the prime for a solid foundation of our children, thus all efforts should be geared towards achieving this goal.

Sayyed Zakzaky (H) also call on the general public to be helpful in contributing to the development of education, giving examples of how the public can take responsibilities in providing infrastructures and facilities for the schools, since it is evident that those at the helm of the affairs are only interested in looting the treasuries for themselves through whatever means. History will of course never forget the atrocities committed by those in the helms of affairs and prosperity will judge. Though the standard we have hoped our Fudiyyah schools will have reached expressed Sayyed (H) the task and challenges is before us and it’s hoped it will improve.

Mal Nura Azare the chairman of the Fudiyyah schools had earlier given a brief report of the Fudiyyah schools with challenges faced by the schools in terms of funding, infrastructures and facilities pointed out and efforts put in place towards improvement.

In the quiz competition, Imam Bakir (AS) zone came first with Imam Ja’afar (AS) zone second and Sayyida Zahra (AS) third. While in the parade competition, Imam Jawad (AS) zone came first, Imam Hassan Askari (AS) zone were second and Imam Musal Kazim (AS) third with various prizes given.

Dr. Mu'azu Speaks on Significance of Maulid Celebration

By Dauda Nalado. The night session lecture was delivered by Dr Mu’azu on Significance of Maulid Celebration,  he stood for Khalifa Ali Abul Fatahi of Maiduguri.

The chairman of the occasion, Malam Mustapha Lawal Nasidi from Potiskum, introduced the speaker. The topic presented was ‘Significance of Maulud Celebration’. Dr Muazu started by examining the literal and the technical meanings of the word ‘Maulud” Technically, Maulud is an avenue where Muslims organize and execute a program that involves narrations, discourses and celebrations on the teachings and qualities of the Holy Prophet (S) with a view to emulate such in their life endeavours.  In addition, it serves to express gratitude to Allah (T) for bestowing to human kind, the ‘Mercy to the creations’.
He emphasized that the significance of the birth of Muhammad (S) cannot be overemphasized. He quoted the renowned scholar Busiriy in his Hamziyya and alburda poetry where he mentioned the miracles that happened in the course of the birth of the Prophet. These include, among others, the fall of the throne of Persian Emperor and the extinction of the fire being worshipped.

 

Dr Muazu then briefly discussed the history of the prophet (S). He then made a lengthy discourse on the ethical behaviors of the Prophet. He urged Muslims to emulate such because they are perfect models as affirmed by the Qur’an. Furthermore he mentioned economic and political benefits associated with Maulud. He said that it is during Maulud deliberations that the travails undergone by the Ahlul Bayt (the progeny of the Prophet) after his death were examined.
The speaker stressed the importance of truthfulness and trust in our society. He noted with dismay how the Muslims delve into abominable things that are contrary to the teachings of the Noble Prophet (S).
Speaking on the authenticity of holding Maulud sessions, Dr Muaz said that it could be deduced from the fasting conducted by the prophet each Monday, the day of his birth, that the prophet was the one who instituted Maulud. In Usul, the root of every act is halal unless a prohibition came against it. Hence holding Maulud (Anniversary of the birth of the Prophet (S)) is highly significant.

Sayyed Exposes Three Agenda of the Enemies During Maulid Closing Speech

The Islamic Movements marked Maulid Nabiyy Commemoration on Thursday the 17^th of R/Auwal 1433 (9/2/12). The commemoration was attended by hundreds of thousands of people from far and near who joined the annual Maulid procession in Zaria city.

The processions which kicked up from north and southern part of Zaria city. The tails of the processions covered several kilometers which ended at Eid Ground where people gathered to listen to the closing lecture of Sayyed Ibraheem Zakzaky.

The leader of the Islamic Movement Sayyed Ibraheem Zakzaky delivered an inspiring lecture in which he described the occasion as the most important for being the birthday of one who changed humanity from servitude of others to servitude to God alone; the one who brought civilization to the world; the one whose news of his arrival was given in the former scriptures; he is Muhammad Bn Abdullahi peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny.

Sayyed also spoke on the current global trend in which the Message of Islam brought by the  Messenger of Allah is targeted in order to dent it. The enemies of Islam have even created a faceless group in Nigeria which they called Boko Haram with view of fighting Islam, the Leader said. He expressed that  even the current bombing in Kaduna was carried out by security agents to shift blames on Islam and Muslims for the fact that Islam is described by many  as the future of Nigeria. He added that there was no real  bomb blast in Kaduna recently  as security agents denoted highly pressured substance in closed container which when denoted  gives sound like bomb blast; he elaborated that the security agents did not allow Press to cover the incident as they confiscated their cameras to hide facts.  Creation of faceless group called Boko Haram is part of their plots too, he noted.

 He further elaborated that the enemies of Islam identified 3 things to deal with in Nigeria, viz:  to eliminate the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria  Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky whom they saw as the champion of the Islamic revival in Nigeria. He noted that a contract to that effect was given to one America by name Patrick Williams. One this Sayyed Zakzaky expressed killing an individual can not stop Islam from raising as it is part and parcel of the Ummah which was running its affairs for centuries before coming of Colonialists to destroy it.

The second contract is to do with dividing Nigeria according to religious lines. Sayyid expressed this as something impossible as in both north and southern Nigeria there are large of number of indigenous Muslims and Christians. He expressed that the motive behind destruction of Nigeria is to remove its perceive influence as a model by the rest of African nations. Should Islam be established others would follow suit.

The third agenda is to destroy Islam by making it synonymous to terrorism, killings and bombings.

He however gave good tidings that this is era of Islam and nothing can prevent the light of Islam from engulfing and leading the world adding that signs of this have already started emanating.

87th Sermon from Nahjul Balagha was Treated by Sayyed on Monday

By Dauda Nalado -On Monday 14/3/1433H (6/2/2012), the activities of the Unity week continued with the lessons from Nahjul Balagah from 4:30-6:30 pm. It is an established practice for many years that Sayyeed Zakzaky (H) conducts lessons from Nahjul Balagah every Monday.

Nahjul Balagah or peak of eloquence is a collection of the sermons, sayings, preaching and letters made by Ameeril mu’mineen Aliy bn Abi Talib (AS).
The qualities of unfaithful Scholars.

This time the lesson is  from the 87th sermon, part two which deals with qualities of unfaithful scholars was considered. Already part one which deals with qualities of a faithful scholar was treated in the previous lesson. Below is the translation of the text:

“While the other (kind of) man is he who calls himself learned but he is not so. He has gleaned ignorance from the ignorant and misguidance from the misguided. He has set for the people a trap (made) of the ropes of deceit and untrue speech. He takes the Qur'an according to his own views and right after his passions. He makes people feel safe from big sins and takes light the serious crimes. He says that he is waiting for (clarification of) doubts but he remains plunged therein and that he keeps aloof from innovations but actually he is immersed in them. His shape is that of a man but his heart is that of a beast. He does not know the door of guidance to follow nor the door of misguidance to keep aloof therefrom. These are living dead bodies.”

Sayyeed (H) made detailed explanations on the above text. He noted that the condition of most of our contemporary ‘sheikhs’ fits well the qualities explained in the above text. Genuine knowledge is the one that is acquired through the proper channel. The Prophet (SAWA) was the city of knowledge. Imam Ali (AS) was the gate to that city. Anybody who wants authentic knowledge has to follow through the gate otherwise he is susceptible to collect garbage through the backdoor and present it as knowledge.

The Muslim Ummah, noted Sayyeed in the course of his explanation, got firaq (divisions) as a result of the adulterated knowledge that has been acquired not through the gate. The mujassima, karamiyya, Ash’ariyya, and mu’tazila are some examples of such major contradictory divisions. The irony of the matter is that they all claim to establish their ideologies from the Holy Qur’an. The Qur’an, however, is one. So how can it contradict its teaching? One can clearly see how the scholars subject the Qur’an according to their own views and right after their passions as stated in the above text.

Sayyeed Zakzaky (H) also added some explanations on the knowledge of mutashabbihat (the allegorical verses) in the Holy Qur’an.

“He it is Who has revealed the Book to you; some of its verses are decisive, they are the basis of the Book, and others are allegorical; then as for those in whose hearts there is perversity they follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. But none knows its interpretation except Allah and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge. say: We believe in it, it is all from our Lord; and none do mind except those having understanding. (Qur’an 3: 7)

The Ahlul Bayt are those who are firmly rooted in knowledge. They are therefore the only scholars who could provide ta’weel (proper explanation) of the Qur’an.
