Teachings of Az-Zahra(AS) are Numerous- Sheikh Zakzaky

The Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky spoke on the teachings of Sayyidah Az-zahra(SA) druing the last day of Zahra week programme on Sunday

 the 13^th of may 2012 at Husaniyyah baqiyyatullah, Zaria. He spoke further on the sufferings of the beloved daughter of the Prophet(sawa), and her teachings as reported in both Sunni and Shia sources.

He mentioned that covering of her exalted status and considering her just a ‘woman’ is another form of aggression. He added that  there are other forms of afflictions she was subjected to but are not known to people. Other forms of the aggression are written in the books of the Majority but when they read them during study they just past without analysis and comment. Keeping silence on her sufferings and afflictions or saying the opposite is an aggression too.

Imam Ali(AS) says whoever expresses that his killers are believers is also among the Killers. Also those who love  Killers of Hasan and Husain (AS) are part of the killers too. In the same vain, whosoever sees killers of Az-Zahra (SA) as believers is among her killers.  Love of Sayyidah Zahra and that of her killers cannot co-exist in a heart; It has to be one- love of Zahra or her enemies.

Sheikh Zakzaky further expressed that Jalaluddin Suyuti writes in his book ‘ the number of  Hadeeth of Sayyidah Zahra does not reach ten’ ; he was writing this with all respect for her as the daughter of the holy Prophet as he wanted to write about her but could not get her hadeeth. Another scholar says her hadeeth are 18.

It was reported  in the books of the Majority that the prophet says ‘take half of your religion from this humaira’ . The Haddeth is very suspicious as the holy prophet cannot call his wife ‘this red girl”. Secondly, where should one get the other half of the religion? The effort was to cover the hadeeth of the prophet about Imam Ali(AS) which says ‘take all your religion from Ali” .

Fatimah Lived with her father throughout her lifetime, even after marriage as her house is very close to that of the Prophet and he visited her more often; she knows Prophet more than his wives. The question is why she didn’t  get much hadeeth in the books of the Majority?!

On her merit Sheikh Zakzaky further outlined some of her hadeeth as recorded in Sunni sources, He also explained her hadeeth from Shia sources.

Some of hadeeth from shia sources include  the sayings as follows:

-          ‘ …..we are the Waseelah to God by which creation Reach Him’

-          ‘ we are his specials and place of His purity”

-          ‘ We are His Hujjah ‘

-          ‘We are Heirs of all his prophets’

On Her hadeeth from Sunni sources, Sheikh Zakzaky explained some of them which  include her Hadeeth about warning to avoid being stingy; hadeeth  about prohibition of consuming wine; the popular hadeeth which extols her as being the best of all women; and the hadeeth of the reward of one who send salutation to her.

Sheikh Zakzaky pointed that her hadeeth are numerous, but most of people don’t want speak about them. He urged people to devote time in studying her numerous sayings and teachings in order to spread her love to every nook and corner.

At the end of the programme gift items were presented by Sheikh zakzaky to students who excelled during Zahra Day Quiz completion. Ziyara of Sayyidah (SA) was recited followed by closing dua by Sheikh Zakzaky.

US Military School Taught soldiers to wage ‘a total war’ against Islam- Report.

 A leaked document  shows that US Military School has been teaching its Military Officers that America’s enemy is Islam, not just terrorists. The report as carried by some websites

expresses that US is so critical about Islam and viewed that a total war against world’s 1.4 billion Muslims would be necessary to protect America from Islamic terrorists.

How gunmen killed brother Muhammad Ali- Witness

By Muhammad Sakafa, Kano  In the early hours of the morning, last Friday, unknown gunmen stormed the house of Alhaji Muhammad Ali, a highly respected member of the Islamic Movement
 in Nigeria in Gadon Kaya, demanding to take away his car and motorcycle to execute what they called “God’s Work’, but ended up taking his precious life away.

 

Malam Mukhtar Dan Hijira, who lived in the same house with the deceased told our reporter that, “Around nine o’clock in the early hours of Friday morning, i heard a knock on the door. As i opened the door, three gunmen busted in and asked if i were Alhaji. I told them i was not. They forced me into the house to call him. As we proceeded, i asked them to wait outside so that i inform him. They obeyed, and i went in and called him out. They demanded for his car and motorcycle keys, saying they were going to do God’s work with it. Alhaji asked them how legitimate it was to do God’s work by attacking his house with his family. He however gave them the keys. They also demanded his phones and that of everyone in the house, which he did. They could not start because of the security installed. They came back and demanded that he start the car for them. It was at this instance that he asked what more they wanted from him, having met all their demands. One of the gunmen pointed the gun at him, and Alhaji boldly said to him, ‘we do not fear death. We are always expecting death’. One of them shot him on the shoulder and the bullet went through his chest, proclaiming the Kalimatus Shahadah as he fell down. When the gunmen saw this, they took to their heels, falling down, bumping unto themselves as they tried to escape. People in the neighbourhood pursued them, but the sound of gun shot by the assailants forced the people retracted”

 

 Alhaji Muhammadu Ali died of the bullet wound on the way to the hospital. He was therefore taken to Markaz at Kofar Waika, where Sheikh Muhammad Mahmud Turi performed the funeral prayer with thousand of Muslims in attendance. He was buried at Kofar Mazugal cemetery. Speaking after the burial, Sheikh Turi said, “We are not blaming any known individual or group for this atrocity. However, those who killed him were overzealous, as he was ordained to die this day; whether they killed him or not. The killers should however know that, they will surely pay for this here or in the hereafter”.

 

Neighbours of the deceased at Gadon Kaya, Malam Abbas and Rabi’u Chanhu, testified to his good conduct. They described him as God-fearing gentleman who minded his business. He is also described charitable, always attending to the demands of the needy.

 

Before his death, Alhaji Muhammad Ali was an assistant director at the Kano State Board of Internal Revenue. He left behind a wife and eight children.

Muslims Reminded on Significance of Rajab

The Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky reminded Members on the significance of the Month of Rajab. He called on Muslims to double effort  in the blessed month of  Rajab for  its merit and significance. He said acts of worship in the month attract forgiveness from Allah. He made the call during weekly Tafseer of the Holy Quran on Wednesday the 16th of May 2012 at Husainiyyah Baqiyyatullah Zaria. He said the Month of Rajab marks the beginning of spiritual season which ends in Ramadan and a Muslim who observes acts of worship and seeking of forgiveness in the months of Rajab, Shaban and Ramadan will be forgiven of all his sin- which qualifies him to be free of all sins as the name of month of Shawwal signifies. He added that observing fasting, even if not for all the days in the month as each day has its particular merit,  is a commendable act as well as the month of Shaban as observing fasting in these months is the Sunnah of the Prophet(SAWA).  He Further noted that  by the coming Sunday the month of J/Akhir will be 29 which shows that the 1st of Rajab will be Monday the 21 of may 2012.  He therefore called on Muslims to be mindful  of the these months and act wisely.
